University of Queensland

The University of Queensland was founded in 1909. It is one of the oldest and largest universities in Australia and is a member of the Australian Group of Eight and Un-iversitas 21. The university was ranked 4th domestically and 41st internationally in the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings of 2009. The school’s out-standing record was sustained over three periods of evaluation of teaching quality conducted by the government of the Commonwealth of Australia while gaining strong support for research work from high-performance industries. The university has been accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and has a fine reputation nationally, as well as internationally, for its quality teaching and excellent research.
